Although each member congregation has it’s own values, we are united in values.
Throuh our “Design Team” Process, members from each congregation are joining together to redefine howour Member Congregations do Church.

Solidarity
Our solidarity practice attempts to answer the question: What is our capacity in the work of liberation? As we watch institutions crumble around us and see more and more need in our communities, what are our churches' roles and responsibilities in meeting those needs? Our answer was to lean further into each of our church’s functions as resiliency centers, by which we mean building communities that can endure together what we can’t change while fighting for what we can. Resiliency centers are grounded in the belief that the end of God’s story is justice, peace, mercy and love. This includes meeting needs, but also play, beauty and art.

Worship
Our shared worship practices aim to create engaging and meaningful worship services across the co-op through strategic scheduling, comprehensive training, shared liturgical resources, and a centralized database, fostering a collaborative and spiritually enriching environment where each church has expanded worship resources but maintains ownership over their contextual Sunday morning worship practice.
-
Community
Our shared community practice has three goals: 1. To make sure we live up to our values of being welcoming congregations by being intentional about how we welcome people; 2. Make sure each church has ways to connect with the community beyond Sunday morning and 3. Make sure there are intentional ways for the community to practice care for one another. We learn best practices and tools from one another to accomplish these goals.

Centralized Administration
We centralize administrative and financial functions as much as possible in order to optimize resource allocation, enhance efficiency, and standardize processes across the Northside Co-op. This synergy allows small churches to focus on mission at the local level, rather than administration.
